Sponsoring a child at Kids to Kids is a great way for an individual, family, church group, or civic group to get involved. Child sponsorship is a two year commitment, which involves a monthly gift of Ksh 2,500 (£20).

Without sponsors, Kids to Kids would not be able to do what it does. The children who come through our programme could not go to school without the extra help which provides school uniforms, backpacks, school supplies, and lunch money. For many of our children, the uniform that is provided by donations to Kids to Kids is the first piece of new clothing these children have ever owned.

Sponsorship is not usually child specific, instead your gift guarantees a space for one child for one year at Kids to Kids. Because of the nature of life in poverty, children are often in transition. While most children who start the programme are able to complete it, from time to time we have a child who's family leaves Nairobi in search of work elsewhere. Because sponsorship is not child specific, if a child re-locates another child is able to take his or her place in the program. When a child gets to secondary school, Kids to Kids seeks donors to take on a 4 year tuition sponsorship commitment for the entire duration of the child’s secondary education. On average this is about Ksh 30,000 (£205) per year.
