Volunteering

Those who live in Kenya have the unique opportunity of hands-on involvement at Kids to Kids. If you live in Nairobi, and have as little as a half-hour a week of free time, you can volunteer at Kids to Kids.

Volunteers help with teaching, and also tutor and read to children. One can also help in the library at Kids to Kids. You can help the children check in and check out their books and also help them pick out a good book. Time spent with the children at Kids to Kids is often a rewarding break in the day for volunteers. If you are interested in getting involved, please let us know. Kids to Kids is so thankful for the many gifts and talents volunteers bring to the program.

Kids to Kids also accepts a maximum of two volunteers on attachment through local schools and universities each school term.

If your organisation or institute requires community service hours, and you are interested in volunteering at Kids to Kids, please contact us for more information on how you can participate.

You can also visit us at the ACK Christ Church compound on Church Road, off Waiyaki Way to learn about other ways of volunteering at Kids to Kids.
